This remapper is only for V1  Controller suitable ( no light bar in the touchpad). A total of 4 buttons were soldered, X / circle / L2 / R2. With this set you can convert your controller to paddles and also install Smart Triggers. Smart triggers create a "click" sound and a shortened release time on the shoulder buttons of your Playstation 4 controller. The paddle buttons allow a design-related advantage in shooter games like Fortnite or Call of Duty. The hammerhead paddle lies very comfortably in the hand and can be easily operated with the middle finger with large and small hands.
 
 The installation takes about 30 minutes and requires a hot glue gun and a drill / Dremel.

 What is a remapper for?
 A remapper allows you to convert your PS4 or PS5 controller into a controller with paddles without any soldering knowledge. The conversion is very easy, you usually only need a hot glue gun, a drill, a screwdriver and a little patience during installation. 
 
 What are the benefits of paddles on the controller?
 Paddles give you a design-related advantage in many games, this is that you can use the analog sticks at the same time and press the paddle buttons (usually X and circle) on the back. So your aim always stays on the opponent, even in situations where you want to crouch, lie down or jump.
 
 For which games are controllers with paddles useful?
 Paddles on your controller are useful for most shooter games, including Warzone or Fortnite. You can also benefit from other games. 
 
 Is the surcharge for a paddle controller from well-known manufacturers justified  compared to the  DiY remapper sets?
 If you don't want to or can't do handicrafts yourself, then definitely yes. However, if you enjoy tinkering and are patient, you can easily build your controller yourself with our conversion kits. In terms of quality, it doesn't take much, the gaming experience is the same as with a controller that you can buy for € 200 +. 
 
 Can I still use the normal keys if I have installed a remapper?
 Yes, the normal buttons still work the same as before, the remapper only duplicates the keypad, which is like if you have a second light switch in the hallway. 
 
 Which keys are the PS4 & PS5 remapper sets assigned by default?
 The standard is X and circle, this key assignment can only be changed by re-soldering. If you specify a different key assignment with your order (leave a message), we will be happy to change this according to your wishes.
